Current engine stock all fitted with DCC control and sound chips

The sound chips are from two camps. The ZTC chips are long and thin and fit easily when space is at a premium as with non tendered engines but the sound on offer is limited to 'steam' with a few bits and pieces common to all locos. Currently they are not available.
The Loksound chips from Germany are much larger and will really only fit into the tender. But most of the sound has been sourced from original locos on preserved lines wherever possible. I purchased all of mine from Howes Models.
